Non-destructive and destructive testing laboratory

Products’ technical safety and quality assessment issues are extremely important especially nowadays. To solve these challenges non-destructive testing is used.

In case more extended examination of welded joints is required by corresponding standards of client's technical requirements the laboratory can also conduct destructive tests.

With the necessity of improving product quality, reliability and safe operation of complex and potentially dangerous objects we use following non-destructive:

  • UT - Ultrasonic testing (Acoustic method of control)
  • RT - X-ray Inspection (radiographic testing method),
  • PT - liquid penetrant test the capillary testing method,
  • VT - visual inspection control (VIC)
  • MT - magnetic particle inspection (magnetic powder control).

and destructive testing methods:

  • Fracture test (FT)
  • Bend test (BT)

Methods of non-destructive testing have been proven useful in various sectors, for early identification of non-conforming products, as well as during their operation.

Experts of TIS International OÜ have extensive experience in this area, necessary skills and equipment to conduct testing.
